How we protect your data

Jardín is built for trusted, local, verified business networking. Keeping members and their data safe is a core part of how we operate — not an afterthought. These are the commitments we hold ourselves to.

We never sell your data

Jardín does not sell, rent, or trade your business or personal information. There is no ad business behind this product and no data brokering — full stop.

Your exact address stays private

We collect a full address only for verification. It is never shown publicly unless you choose to add it yourself, and we keep it out of anything public-facing by default.

The map shows an approximate area, not your door

On the map, members appear at an approximate, area-level location — never an exact point — so you can find who's nearby without exposing precisely where anyone is.

We share as little as possible with outside services

Where we rely on outside tools (for example, to place an approximate location on a map), we send only the minimum needed and prefer privacy-respecting, non-commercial providers. Your detailed information stays with us.

Location changes are reviewed

After a business is verified, changing where it's located is reviewed by our team before it goes live. This helps protect members from bad actors and misrepresentation.

Every business is verified

Businesses go through a verification review before joining, and only verified businesses appear in the network. It's a community of real, vetted local businesses.

Your data is access-controlled

Information is protected so a business's details are only visible to those meant to see them. We follow the principle of least exposure throughout the app.

Trust & safety is active, not advertised

We run checks behind the scenes to keep the network trustworthy. We intentionally don't publish the specifics — that would only help the people we're guarding against.

These practices will be reflected in our full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy at launch. Questions? Reach us any time.
